An afternoon with the Finches.

I. Was. Nervous.  Like, hands shaking and butterflies in my stomach nervous.

I always feel that way when I photograph friends… I feel like if I stuff up it’s going to make our friendship awkward… but not only that… the Finches are photographers themselves.

Pressure.

But I shouldn’t have been nervous.  These guys understand connection and realism.  They weren’t expecting me to take photos of them all looking at the camera, and they weren’t expecting their kids to put on an act and being something they’re not.

This is them.

The Finch family are adventurous and fun.  They like bush walks and skating and having picnics.  All I had to do was document the way they love each other.
